About Me

A Kickstart to Training
I have been playing soccer for nine years, and I love it! I started out on a club team called Stingers. It was a great team and I played with them until I was 12, but then I started homeschooling. I continued to play for Stingers another year but then during that year I was asked to join a homeschool team called Denver Eagles. I said yes and for one year I played on two different teams. Rushing from playing a game with Denver Eagles to getting to practice with Stingers was crazy! It also got to be very expensive so I had to choose a team and I ended up picking Denver Eagles. Within one year playing for Denver Eagles I became so close with the players; they grew to be my extended family. Playing for the Denver Eagles has been a true blessing in my life. I am very grateful for their support and hope to make my family, team, and coach proud.
Soccer is second nature to me, after nine years one would expect it to be, but I’m still not at the level I would like to be or training as hard as I should. My brother always told me to push myself harder than anyone else could. He would say, “If you don’t feel pain, you aren’t improving.” So the challenge I picked to push me to these aspirations is the 30 day training challenge for soccer. I picked this challenge because this year my coach asked me to be the conditioning coach for our team. Coach said he sees me as a leader on this team. Through training hard, I hope to show him I take this responsibility seriously and accept the challenge. The next 30 days will help me to achieve my training and development goals plus a status that I will expect from my team when I’m their conditioning coach. I hope to develop a drive in every person to train harder in order to improve at every practice. I want to encourage them that hard work does pay off, possibly in a trophy, a game winning goal, or maybe even just a pat on the back from the coach saying he is proud of you.
I hope to reach out to others who have similar goals, maybe not for soccer but for just fitness in general. My intentions for this blog is to help inspire and motivate with encouraging words and maybe a personal story every now and then. If my posts have inspired you I would love to hear it! So comment and like and hopefully follow for more!
